Disk Drill Free Data Recovery App Announced

Disk Drill is now available for all Windows users! And it’s absolutely Freeware.

ATLANTA, Georgia (PRWEB) March 24, 2015

CleverFiles, a a well-known Mac data recovery software vendor, has now released Disk Drill 1.0, Windows Edition, a freeware full-featured companion data recovery solution for PC home and office users.

Disk Drill boasts a set of data recovery tools that can undelete files from almost any device: internal and external hard drives, memory cards, USB flash drives, mountable cameras, iPods (non-iOS), etc. It supports recovery from all file systems including NTFS, FAT, HFS/HFS+, and EXT2/EXT3/EXT4, ExFAT. Disk Drill’s algorithms will help anyone recover lost data, repair damaged partitions and find files that were mistakenly trashed.

In addition to recovery of a multitude of file formats, Disk Drill has an proprietary data protection feature known as “Recovery Vault”. It preserves a copy of the metadata of a user’s files so that they are recovered almost automatically if deleted by mistake. Disk Drill’s protection mechanism literally turns data recovery into a couple of clicks.

Disk Drill for Windows is currently available as a completely freeware version on the official website (will run on Windows XP or later, including Windows 10).
