DX12 Games Likely Coming by the End of 2015

Phil Spencer has once again taken to twitter to respond to questions from the Xbox community, and revealed some very exciting information.

Spencer was then asked whether he believes that developers will adopt DX12 natively, to which he replied that he thinks that developers will do what’s best for them. Considering though that DX12 is available on both Windows 10 and Xbox One, developers will likely consider the new API as a profitable platform.

Microsoft’s exclusives are potential candidates for using DX12, and the upcoming Forza Motorsport 6 would be an extremely fine display. In a recent visit to Turn 10 studios, both Phil Spencer and Aaron Greenberg were left quite excited with what they witnessed. Greenberg remarked that there’s “so much hotness” going on with the team while Spencer continued to praise the team.
