On Sunday, November 10th, Wisdom Gaming Group, an esports and digital marketing agency, held Minnesota’s largest spectator esports event ever at Bat Barrel at Target Field for the League of Legends Worlds Finals. Fans had the opportunity to watch the largest esports competitive event in the world while also getting to meet other fans and participate in live contests for prizes.
The event, attended by over 400 League of Legends fans, signals Wisdom Gaming Group’s launch into esports and gaming centered events in the Twin Cities. Fans lined up at 5:30am to be the first to grab Twins and WisdomGG swag while eagerly anticipating the opening ceremony and games for this year’s Worlds Finals. The event trended #1 in Minneapolis on Twitter and #26 in the United States for six hours, with fans using #LoLWorldsMPLS to engage in Twitter trivia for prizes.
