NBA 2K18 vs NBA Live 18 – graphics

It’s clear from trailers and screenshots that they’re both great looking games, boasting realistic player models and environments true to their real life counterparts.

NBA Live 18 runs on the Ignite graphics engine, the technology used to power FIFA before its switch over to Frostbite. Despite the engine’s age, it still produces the convincing characters and courts required for a truly immersive basketball sim.

NBA 2K has always been the cream of the crop in terms of visual prowess, and 2K18 appears to be no different. Each player is incredibly lifelike, with sweat visibly dripping from pores as they dribble across the court. It’s a real looker, and should take great advantage of PS4 Pro and Xbox One X.
