Perception Neuron will unveil the final design for their virtual reality immersion technology at GDC 2015.
This is an exciting time for us. We are truly making something that is different. Something that might very well change the way we interact with the world.
San Francisco, California (PRWEB) February 25, 2015
Noitom, the company that has vowed to democratize motion capture by creating Perception Neuron, the first system available to anyone at an affordable price, will be at the 2015 Game Developers Conference taking place at the Moscone Center in San Francisco from March 2-6 with the expo taking place March 4-6.
“Timing could not have been more ideal,” explains Roch Nakajima, Americas/Europe Marketing Director at Noitom. “GDC is the largest gathering for game professionals in the world and it coincided perfectly with our first batch of pilot production units. Our team is elated with the performance, quality and overall look of Perception Neuron, and we want to share this with our Kickstarter backers who helped make this happen, and of course the media.”
The press unveiling and cocktail party will take place on Tuesday March 3rd from 6:00 to 8:00pm at The Impact Hub San Francisco, 901 Mission Street, just a couple of blocks from the Moscone Convention Center. Invitations have already gone out to national and international media outlets, and the event is at capacity. Press who would like to attend and did not receive an invitation are invited to contact susy(at)myrockgroup(dot)com as soon as possible to make special arrangements.
“This will be a fun, relaxed and intimate event,” says Susy Ferrer, Americas PR Director for Noitom. “We are a young company and so many people have put so much effort into Perception Neuron. We invited all our backers that could make it and it is a time to show them what we built, talk to them and share a drink with them.”
During the Expo component of GDC, Perception Neuron will allow guests to experience the system first hand through several immersive experiences and games. From March 4th to the 6th, the booth located at position #218 will allow anyone who wishes to schedule private demos throughout the course of the day. To schedule a demo at the booth, members of the press must send an email to pr(at)noitom(dot)com while regular attendees must send an email to aalvarez(at)noitom(dot)com. Please specify a prefered day and time.
“This is an exciting time for us. We are truly making something that is different. Something that might very well change the way we interact with the world. HMDs like Oculus Rift and Samsung GearVR began the VR revolution, and in a matter of a few years have revolutionized the way we “look” at the digital world — now we want to change the way people interact with it. It is indeed very exciting,” explains Tristan Dai, CTO and Co-founder of Noitom.
The Game Developers Conference 2015 San Francisco will take place from March 2-6 with the expo taking place March 4-6 at the Moscone Center, 747 Howard Street. Perception Neuron will be at booth #218. The kick-off party will be held March 3, from 6-8pm at Impact Hub San Francisco, 901 Mission Street, just a few blocks from the conference. To schedule a demo session at the booth, please contact aalvarez(at)noitom(dot)com.
